Either that or he thinks he woke up famous today! The FedEx truck pulled up in front of my house at 9:20 this morning to deliver the RA! What joy! I had asked my mom to come over and wait with me so she could take a picture of me and the FedEx man. Yet another reason why he thinks I love him. When I heard the truck my mom and I began flailing around looking for the camera. I remember hearing my mom say "what do I do?". I opened the door and began snapping pictures of this poor man. He had no clue. He said "I guess these are important documents?" You got that right, buddy! So after a small photo session I opened the package and there it was. Simple as can be but oh, so valuable. I trucked it out to where Brian is working right now and he and I signed them together. I then hauled it back home and FedExed them right back to our agency. Good times!! Oh, and I noticed that the day this RA was signed in China was the day I wrote the Deep Thoughts entry. I love the Lord!!
Poor guy! What a trooper!!

You crack me up!! You know the FedEx dude will never forget that. Can I borrow Mom when my FedEx dude visits me? I've met my UPS dude but never my FedEx dude. Out here in the back 40, it's always the same guy. Anyway, Congrats! Come on TA!!! And my RA!!!!
That is so funny! He is a good sport for smiling and stopping for the pictures, you how big of a hurry they are in to get all those packages delivered by the end of the day! And, you know I love your house! It's actually not far from where I'm looking...
I am so giddy reading this! Seeing you two signing the paper makes me teary! IT'S HERE!!!!!!! Thank you Lord and HOW AMAZING :) that the China docs were drawn up on the Deep Thoughts day. Glorious. LOVE YOU.
Yeah! I've been blog-stalking you for a while, but I remember you from ACU. I was roommates with Becky James and then Mandy Morue. I found your blog from Jacinda. I actually requested info from your agency because of your website. Congratulations and I'll keep you in my prayers.
I am so happy for you! I love that you got the guy to take a picture with you - I probably would have done that too! :)
WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!! I found out the news from Sara, but hadn't left my congrats yet! So, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I love this post and I love that you took pictures of it all. What an amazing day. Tears filled my eyes when I saw that document in your hands.
We continue to pray for the day you hold that sweet girl in your arms!
I can't wait to scare my Fed Ex guy! Congrats again and I am not giving up hope...there still is time before CNY!!
Wow! That is so awesome! Praise JESUS! I just love adoption and I am so excited for your whole family that you are going to get to experience this wonderful blessing. My aunt and uncle adopted a little girl from Russia five years ago and it has been such an amazing experience. I'll pray that everything will get settled before the Chinese New Year! But, since God has such incredible timing, however it works out will be perfect.
And about the sopapilla cheesecake, I'll post the recipe tomorrow. It's just about the easiest thing ever and SO good!
Thanks for commenting today. The secret reading was mutual! Glad that's all out in the open now. :)
Hahaha! I'm sure the FedEx man loved that....made his day I'm sure. It's so fun to make others happy. :o) I love to anyway!
You're going to China!!!

Has he ever told you about the time we turned his WHOLE office upside down while he was at lunch? It was the PERFECT joke b/c all the staff new how particular he is about his desk! Good times! :)
