Gisenyi, Rwanda

Howdy all -

No new pics as they have no Internet in the far out lands they are in now, but quick call from Amy which was good for me! Definitely saved the best/most challenging for last per Miss Amy. Area is so beautiful physically, the mountains of Congo are in view, but the devastation in the little ones around there and the poverty evident in so many ways have been welling up in emotional tears every quiet moment. They are working daily at very overcrowded orphanages (600+ kids at each) and pretty draining. Facilities have stepped down off the star rating. Beds are cots and bed bugs and some kind of leach are everywhere around their beds. Larry threw his back out yesterday so please pray for strength for him. They are here for two more days then begin the long 2 day journey home (Yeah!).

Will post more pics when they get back to airport. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. All the Woods kids are still alive and have been fed and been bathed. (Thank God.)

peace,
Bw

Oh, and what a great husband you have, too. ;) I think he's a keeper!
