Something I hate...

Fellas, I hate to tell you but this post is not going to be about anything you can relate too, I'm sure. So you can quit reading now. If there ARE any fellas who read my blog. Maybe my Dad? Hi Dad! Anyway, I have something that bugs me and I wanted to share.

Know what these are? If you are a woman and you own a bathing suit then you know what these are and what I'm about to say.

WHY can't they make bathing suit tops with "padding" that just stays in them? Why must I find these in various shapes all wadded up in the top of my bathing suit after a wash? Why do they only make the slit where you put them back in the top only 1 inch wide? Is this why I'm developing arthritis in my fingers? Because I'm trying to contort them in that slit to try and get this thing back in the place it came when I purchased my suit? Sometimes I get lucky and I can get them back in. Sometimes! But most times I give up, throw them in my bathing suit drawer with their cousins, and let the world "see what they see". Sorry. If you are ever with me when I'm wearing a bathing suit be sure to wear your sunglasses because you will surely be blinded by the h#@d lights! Its not my fault. I tried! The end.

I agree. Those pad things are the worst! I know the person who invented them was probably trying to help, but they haven't turned out to be that brilliant of an idea, in my opinion. Sort of like pantyhose. :)

Oh my word! I just about spit my tea out! LOL I found that if I saftey pinned them from the inside (don't poke through to the front of the bathing suit) then the stay in and are not as bad to fix.

Thay are a pain in the rump though!

I totally bust up laughing the second I saw what they were. I have my own stash. And they are such a pain, they never go back in conformed to your shape, and if you miss re-shaping one, it looks like you have a cell phone stuffed in your swim suit.
And why cant they make them a soft rubber, like the gel ones that go in bra's? Every time I get out of a pool, it takes an extra 5 minutes for my b@@bies to stop leaking. :/

That's funny! I thought it only happened to me. I don't know why they can't sew them so they are only one piece anyway.

As a fellow 'pad-wearer', I find I have to put a little stitch in them. Basically I sew them in place. : )
